Wow. I just wrote like, twelve paragraphs about this movie. My blog posts are too wordy. So I deleted them. I’m going to write in one-word sentences instead.
Touching.
Grotesque.
Violent.
Beautiful.
Psuedo-erotic. (probably two words, but like how I hyphenated them to make it one?)
Classic.
Emotional.
Love.
Pure.
Simple.
Easily one of the best films of the decade. I’d also rank it in my top 3 vampire movies of all time. However, this really isn’t a vampire movie. It’s a love story. A love story about two people totally alone in this world who find each other. It’s beautiful.
Oh, don’t take the kids. And don’t take yourself if A. you can’t stand foreign films or B. you can’t stand vampire films.
